This family lost almost everything in an apartment fire just before Christmas a year ago. Over the following year, ALEx helped with food, furniture, clothing, a used car, and other essentials. 

In support of a local Headstart program called "Blankies, Books, and Bears," we provided approximately 50 sets for preschoolers, including themed blankets, children's books, and stuffed toys. 

In partnership with Food Forward, a local nonprofit that harvests and distributes fresh, local produce to charities, we made nearly weekly deliveries of organic citrus fruits and other packaged foods to families at a Laundry Love function and at a trailer park primarily serving farmworkers in Port Hueneme and Oxnard. 

This farm worker's refrigerator died, so her son submitted an application for a grant to buy a new one for his family. He gave his 5% "pay it forward" money to another family and helped them write and submit a grant.

This man lost family members in a tragic house fire in Mexico. Atomic Love Explosion paid his way to Mexico for the funerals.

This single father and his two daughters lived in a small apartment with another family. ALEx helped them find their own apartment, paid for the move, and purchased a table, chairs, dishes, cooking ware, linens, and other items to help them get set up in their new place.
